Can a Shark Injector be reset for reuse?

I sold my e36 m3 about month ago.

About a week later I got a care package from the previous owner with a bunch of stuff for the car. I'd bought the car in March, lol. Among them was a Shark Injector, a ~$350 piece, that had already been used to set a tune on the car. I don't believe the tune had been reset, I presume it was still on the car.

I called my Turner rep who confirmed it's coded to the car, and is now basically worthless.

Is there a workaround for this? Anyone have experience perhaps paying Jim C or someone to reset it?

Thats what I'd do.. Somewhere down the line he may want it.

That's my plan if I can't find a way it can be reused. But I sold the car for much less than it was worth (modded 98 m3 w/93k for $4500) as I needed money asap for another venture. Would like to recoup a few bucks if possible
