325e' w/ 'i' harness coolant temp switch question.

Doing a harness swap on my 85 325e so i can run a Motronic 1.3 ECU. Can someone confirm for me that I can plug the 'i' harness into 'e' temp switches? From what I read it should be "plug and play" and when I do a resistance check from the ecu plug its all within spec. Just wanted to play it safe and get a second opinion. The coolant temp sensor is the same. Yours looks old, I would replace it anyway. The gauge sender is not compatible with the 1.3 harness. The coolant temperature switch and thermo-time switch are not used by Motronic 1.3; you can leave them or you can buy threaded plugs (PN 07119919228 ) to replace them.

Ok thanks. In all my searching i'm not sure how I was not able to find that thread. I noticed that it lists belts as a required 'i' part. Both 'e' and 'i' belts are the exact same according to RealOEM. Just thought I'd point that out.
