Gas Pedal

Umm, I was going to work, and i was like goin 69 mph or so goin up the mountain, and i realized i was slowing down

I pressed the gas and nothing happend...literally...the gas petal woudn't go down more then 3mm...i switched to slow lane and waited and waited then it just went down. so i accelerated again, and it was fine, but then it happended again when i got close to 70...

Keeps happening on the highway, high miles per hour, not anywhere else.

What could be the problem? This damn car is just faling apart!!

Do this before you drive your car again! You wouldn't want the throttle to get stuck and not be able to slow down! You should open the hood and check the movement of the throttle linkage with your hand. If it is binding find out why before you drive! If everything seems ok under the hood, the cable is probably the problem. If that is the case you'll have to replace the cable, it's like $20-25.
