    Car feels boggy when started

Hello friends, well I've been having this problem recently where I turn the car on and it bogs like it's going to die but after warming up a little bit it idles fine. Also while driving I can hear my fuel pump acting faulty so I was thinking maybe that needs to be replaced to solve my problem.

    I drive a 1991 BMW 318is "slick top"

Uhhhh well if you know your fuel pump is acting up then you should probably fix it before your stranded

The bogging down probkem when cold is most likely caused by vacuum leaks
Or it could be your slick top
What is a slick top I thought it was a cop car

If you can hear the fuel pump it probably needs to be replaced before it fails. Also replace the filter. Other causes of a noisy fuel pump include a rusty tank ir an obstruction in the fuel return line.

I agree with Dirty325ix that there is a good chance that at least part of your problems are intake leaks. The definitive test is to have a shop run a smoke test and then repair as indicated.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
