    AC Idle Bump Revisited

So ive been trolling around trying to figure out what the e36 DME needs to raise the idle.

It seems there is 2 options, Trick the DME or let it control the AC entirely. Im thinking of some witchcraft to start.

    Wiring diagram

It seems the climate control grounds pin 17 to request the dme to turn on the AC (does the e30 work the same way?). Assuming it sees the correct voltage at pin 14 from the pressure sensor it turns on the ac, this could be as simple as a resistor/rheostat between pins 45 and 14 to trick the ecu into thinking the pressure is within range. Now since its BMW im gonna assume it also needs to see 12v at pin 18 after it turns the compressor on to actually raise the idle. Simple enough to do either by a relay triggered by the climate control or by tapping the power wire to the compressor.

Anyone done some or all of this or have an e36 they can poke about to confirm?

Just something I have been kicking around to try out when i swap mine in a month or so.
