Have carcass of a 535i that was involved in fire. Drove home from the shop and the fire happen at Bainbridge/Freeman Ave
Looks like the hood insulation caught fire from turbo :/
Most of the fire damage was on the hood and plastic components throughout the front engine bay. Even the megasquirt unit was safe. All belts are good. Etc etc
Has:
M30b35 256k mi and still haulin ass when fire hit
Getrag 265 I think. Clutch held 10psi from GT45 tarbo
Custom short shift, e60 shifter and bushings, cup
Full exhaust, new downpipe fabbed from bavarian auto 757 and TCD exhaust mandrel with cat and test pipe. Good n tight turbo manifold. 44mm wastegate.
Bilstein sport and vogtland suspension.
Moosehead engineering upper control arms.
Lemfoerder draglink and meyle tierods.
GT45 with like 40mi on it. No shaft play and still spins freely. Not sure what you could do with it. All glass good.
Has water to air intercooling, heat exchanger. water pump untouched
New fuel pump installed last year.
Lots of stuff.
Any questions just ask. I'm not parting just yet. Would like it all to go. Offer up 2k OBO (im motivated)
I'm keeping the style 32, clutch pedal assembly, cluster and some other bits.
Pains me to do this :(
Would make a good donor for e30 or to make your e34 cool...maybe. (some parts can be used on e28s too) prefer text for fast response. number is: seven 5 seven tree tree 8 45 six four or email / pm here
