Hey guys. I was having a problem with the car starting. I replaced the fuel pump only to find out it was the starter. Drove with this fuel pump about a month 1,000 or so miles.
I put the stock pump back in.
This has the retrofit already done and you can just drop this into your tank and go.
It will come with the TRE 255lph fuel pump, bracket, fuel level sending unit. You should order a new oring but you can maybe use your old one.
I threw away the stock hose they give you and upgraded this to Gates racing high pressure fuel hose designed to be submersed in fuel.
Also soldered the 2 wires and used Raychem heatshrink designed to be used in submersed in fuel.
I used the padding they include to cushion the fuel pump and wrapped it in safety wire to help secure it. A hose clamp is to big and will not fit in the gas tank opening.
Small detail but used BMW hose clamps instead of the worm clamps they include to help prevent the clamps from digging into the hose.
Only used chevron 91 octane if you guys care.
