FS: Rebuilt M20 885 Cylinder Heads (and more) by BimmerHeads

Originally known as Myster-E Performance, BimmerHeads LLC is a Southern California based company specializing in vintage BMW engines. We rebuild engines and cylinder heads and ship them all over the world. We offer both performance-minded and stock rebuilds. Our main focus is the BMW M20 and M30 engines but we've done many others as well. Other BMW work includes: M10, M42, M50, S50, S52, and the list goes on! Since October 2011 we've built a fantastic reputation of great pricing and great service. You might say we're one of the little guys that's doing big things!

We use ONLY good condition OEM BMW 885 core cylinder heads. The 885 head casting is originally found on the M20B25 (2.5L) engine. All of our heads are completely torn down and rebuilt receiving the following: Cleaning, pressure testing, resurfacing, valve grinding, valve seat grinding, new valve seals, new cam seals, new intake studs, new exhaust studs, new rocker arm hardware, new rocker eccentrics, new cam gear, new cam gear cover, new rotor mount, and new Ireland Engineering HD rocker arms.

Our performance 885 cylinder heads also include: Extensive porting & polishing along with a performance regrind camshaft. Additional options are available such as: new OEM valve springs, performance beehive valve springs, 1mm oversized valves, and coolant jacket welding for boosted engines. You will be able to select these upgrades in the drop down menu on our website.

sexiness, GLWS.

This is a straight drop-in replacement right? Is there a tune or anything like that needed since there is a cam?

Yes, this is ready to run. Valves adjusted, everything good to go.

A specific tune is always a good idea but it would run on a generic performance chip with some 19lb injectors.

This is a really good deal. I paid more for my head work and didn't get nearly as much done.

GLWS!
