These guys may be buying sight unseen, but they are a very discerning group. I would write a very thorough description clearly outlining all the car's flaws, if I were to sell something on BAT. If you look at the two 318is that recently sold, the second one had about 70k fewer miles and was a slicktop, but sold for less money because the seller (a dealer) was not-very-transparent and one of the doors was unoriginal, along with a fewer other things that weren't mentioned...

I agree completely. Transparency and an engaged seller goes a long ways on BaT.

That was a member's car.

I still can't believe he sold it.

They have a E30 M3 for sale now, I remember seeing this for sale not too long ago with Jagermeister livery. Was it Ireland Engineerings? or another shop in SoCal. Cant remember. This one could go quite "affordably"

That e30 320is may be the coolest thing I've seen in a bit.

dont worry, there will be more. The 318is seems to be the one that keeps coming back. A clean one will be very much in your price range. I will try to remember that you're looking for a mint alpine car and shoot you a message. I spend way too much time on the net looking at cars. I wish I could find a way to get some money out of it

You should keep your eye on the 320is then. Its a special model and if the price is something you can afford to "buy and hold" I would do it. I havent reached the point in my life that I have the type of disposable income to purchase extra vehicles.

I have seen a few lately on ebay and bat.....they are already bringing 30's and 40.... I'm just a sucker for a tastefully modified swapped E30. I know that some purists don't see that as a collectible and I guess that's just where my mentality differs
