The R4A LED bulbs are very bright and do not produce any EMI (radio interference), they do not have a visible flicker, and have a lifespan >30,000 hours. The design is based on the bulb type you are replacing so the LEDs are positioned in the same relative location to the reflector as the standard bulb for your headlights. The most interesting feature is the lack of a fan which is a common point of failure in other LED kits. Instead, the R4A uses a copper braided heatsink.

The R4A LED bulbs are made to order according to your selected bulb style and desired color temperature. Allow 2-3 weeks from placement of order to your door. Any changes need to be made within 72 hours after the original order was placed.

The R6 is our latest generation LED bulb! It builds on the solid foundation of the R4A and adds 2 more banks of LEDs for a total of 4! Since the light is more evenly spread across the reflector, you can expect a bright and full beam and a nice hot spot! The compact design makes converting from halogen to LED a simple task for most applications.

With a brightness rating of 5800 LM, the R6 leads the LED industry and is comparable to factory HID systems. The R6 is currently available in 6000K for most standard bulb types.

Sorry, do these work right out of the box ? or do you need a pre existing HID kit installed ?
I have the EURO smileys on my car, with NO HID kit in. Just stick bulbs, is this just a bulb upgrade ?

thank you in advance.

These are plug n play, they are designed with the same dimensions as the bulb it substitutes. No modifications needed to the housings. It comes with everything you need.

Euro reps like depos, original bosch or hella Euro projectors use H1

US projectors use 9006

Plug and play? Shit, you can't beat that. What bulb would be similar to common HIDs? I am looking to match my E46's stock HID's, preferably without the blue hue that I see in the videos.

The closest match in color would be the 4300k bulbs, but will lean towards yellow.

Based on the bulb guide you need D2S which is an available option.

I used 2004 330Ci to look it up. The daytime running light is H7 which I can also get.
