    Replacing brake booster tip

I swapped out my brake booster today (had a vacuum leak) and had a hard time getting it out. It seemed to be stuck squeezed in between the intake manifold, throttle cables, an electrical connector, the shock tower, the aux fuse boxand most scarily, one of the brake line fittings. I looked up to see what other people did and couldn't find anything so I'm putting some pics here in case someone else has this problem. These were taken after I'd gotten the new one in.

    This brake line fitting

    this electrical thing

undo and move the throttle cables over here

this is ultimately what gave me the clearance I needed.. of course I didn't think to take this out until putting in the new booster

anyway hope that helps someone. And my vacuum leak is gone! (though now I have to bleed my brakes for an hour.. grr!)

it's a Kenny Powers quote on wheels

Great timing, thanks for the post. I attempted to do this the other day and gave up thinking I'd have to take apart half the engine compartment just to get it out.
