Be careful with E31 brakes. Some of them require 17in wheels.

do you have the single piston ate calipers or the big aluminum 4 piston brembo's?

Sam - I believe you can use E34 struts just fine. Put E28 top hats on the rear, and for the front, you have to use E34 dogbones (part bolted to the bottom of the strut) and E34 suspension parts (tie rods/control arms etc)

I have a front and rear left side KW coil overs that you can play around with, but i'd need them back!

          totally awesome proposition here!

Problem is, I sold my E34 parts car, since I am looking for a lower mileage alusil M60, not a nikasil w/ 200k on it.

So when I pick up another E34 or E32, I just might take you up on your offer!

No shortened struts or anything.... and he still has problems going into driveways...

those cars arent really made for being slammed (in my opinion)

Shut up ro ro. haha. e28s shudnt be slammed? i seee... lol:hitler:

Sooo, did we ever figure out rear shock options? What rear Koni does GC use in the E28 set up? As I thought E28 Rear Koni's were NLA.

If IX housings can be used in the front, any insert used on an E30 should work with the E28 with the appropriate spacer/shortening...

Held up an e30 insert next to the e28 and the e30 was about an inch shorter. Food for thought.

So that's good! That means you can shorten the E28 strut housings for coilovers w/ E30 shocks.
