This is where journalism kicks in Washington Post c'mon! On the surface that seems dandy; don't sign up in time, you're not a delegate. But please, politics is a nasty game that's been played for a long time. The entire thing stinks.

If Hillary wins, she will win by dictatorship before ever becoming president...instead of waiting like everyone else and after becoming president. /lol
no wonder you find conspiracy theories everywhere you look, because you're not spending any time trying to figure out what happened

On the eve of the Nevada Democratic Convention in Las Vegas, Friday the 13th as the calendar would have it, Bernie Sanders issued a news release asking for good fortune on that traditionally unlucky day.

Despite all of this, the Sunday chalking of the walls and sidewalks and the social media nastiness still going on, some facts are ineluctable, some of them elucidated in this post from the state Democratic Party:

►Sanders lost the caucus on Feb. 20. He had no right to the most delegates, even if the Clinton campaign was asleep at the switch for the county conventions. The Sanders campaign simply did not follow through. As the Medium post reveals, the Sanders folks just did not show up; the Clinton delegates did:

Clinton only had 27 delegate positions vacant on Saturday. Sanders left 462 vacant. Clinton filled 98 percent of her available delegate slots at the State Convention, and Sanders only filled 78 percent of his available delegate slots.

    End of story. They lost

►On the 64 delegates the Sanders campaign insists should have been seated, the Democratic Party post reveals only six showed up and:

The remaining potential delegates were ineligible for two main reasons: 1) They were not registered Democratic voters in Nevada by May 1, 2016, and 2) Their information — such as address, date of birth and name — could not be found or identified, and they did not respond to requests from the party and campaigns to correct it.

That's... so shitty. How can he leave 462 positions empty? What was that about? What is his campaign manager doing?

But I don't understand how he left 462 delegate positions and then filled 78% of his available delegate positions. Are there thousands of of delegates on the state level?

You amaze me some times. Our world history are just conspiracies piled on top of another. It takes all of 5 minutes, with a history book, to figure that out. Being a skeptic is also being skeptical of what the greatest known liars, politicians, are telling you.

So to wrap it up, after your typical political forum douchness, thanks for posting that!

I thought this was a really interesting AMA. Answers were done by swarm to create a Swarm AI. The recap of the AMA was this:

                  -Hillary is next president
                  -Won't be indicted
                  -Is crooked
-Bernie best fit for the job
                  -Fraud took place

Apparently both Clinton and Bernie would beat Trump at the polls, but Clinton will get the nomination.

Thanks for sharing that. So an AI built upon a pre conceived intelligence from a human hive mind that gives answers in real time? Can you explain it a little better for my dumb ass? Edit: watched the video... wouldn't that just make it a more interactive and predictive poll?

Is Donald Trump smart or are Americans stupid?

                    "Americans are stupid" LOL

don't want to start a separate thread on this as it really is related to Sanders and his opinion that we ought to go full socialism politically

obama today called for an increase in Social Security benefits paid for by the "rich", a program that is underfunded by $24 trillion

ZeroHedge - On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero

IMHO the reason we are at a juncture in history where the thought of adopting socialism as a method of governance is because of the lack of opportunity today economically. middle class incomes are stagnant and have been for a long time. college grads live at home and can't find full time work. the official unemployment rate is a statistical lie, a joke.
And the reason for most of the above is progressive politics, pervasive regulations in the name of making everything fair.
And i get why some feel Sanders and his distorted populist politics appeal to many.
what an amazing place we find ourselves historically. The USA was formed as a result of invasive governments, and now because invasive governance has resulted in no upward mobility for many the answer is MORE MORE MORE.
                      seriously WTF

No, the reason for most of that is trickle down economics, the widening wealth gap, and deregulation allowing massive corporations to run rampant. Don't conservatives always bring up the 50s and 60s of the USA like it's the gold standard?

                        Well...

Maybe people just want things to be a little more level fielded? The American Dream more attainable? Things are getting more and more stacked against them and they're not happy about it. Damn right they want things to be more fair.

It's called the American Dream, not American Realization. And only socially do conservatives talk positively about the 50s.

results are not how you level the field. opportunity is how to level it.
as i've said before, income inequality is a sign that an economy is actually functioning.
but you and i i believe are on the same page with crony capitalism and that kind of unfair.
you'd actually make a great conservative.
one big reason to want less government and get back to the roots of this great country? if government was smaller, a LOT smaller, the opportunity to lobby for unfair advantage would be a LOT smaller
it seems to me that the more the federal government has intruded into our lives, the bigger the government has become, the more the middle class has been left behind. why would you want more?

Correlation is causation, apparently. You haven't proven by any meaningful measure how the federal government "intrusion" has resulted in this inequality.

Even if you think that the inequality we have right now is evidence of a properly functioning economy, you have to admit at some level that it can be so far lopsided towards the top that it would not be beneficial to our society. What is that point for you? When the middle class ceases to exist? when only 5-10 people hold 90% of the wealth in this country?
