Awesome work Jordan, glad to hear it's all running strong.

Hmmm....nearly the same power as an M30B35 and no weight penalty. Sounds like a winner to me :D

The numbers are also quite similar to a chipped M50. Good info to compare with.

      Nice results Jordan

          Nice man.

Curious what a stock 2.5 puts out on the dyno?

Also, what else you got planned to pick up the few extra?

About 138whp and 137wtq, depending on engine and atmospheric conditions, as well as type of dyno.

Wow, that is a pretty substantial difference then. Well worth the price of admission.

8 deg off the stock map or 8 deg BTDC?

Is your engine 10.2:1 or 9.5:1?

                    Yea thats about right.

For what it's worth, the last crazy M20 we put together had a crazy cam, an extrued honed intake manifold and an M30 AFM (no unichip) in addtion to what Jordan has on his build and it put a little over 180 to the wheels. Something to think about for the next steps Jordan; I bed you could break 190 at the wheels with a cam and extrude hone.

he already has a cam.. and I still think extrude hone is a big waste of money. but that's just IMO... ;)

8º retard off the stock map AFAIK. 10.2:1

I have a 274/274 11.5mm lift Schrick. I also have a port matched IM, which no doubt makes a difference.

Working against me is that stock rubber intake boot accordian, stock TB, and stock exhaust manifolds. I'm going to do a nicer header setup on the car once I am in Texas, and make a custom pipe to replace the accordian boot. I might also go with a BBTB. Thats about all I'm going to put into this motor anytime soon if at all.

Wow that is awesome. Nice work man. Why don't you custom make yourself a set of ITB's? Unless you have the money to pay for a set. That would definitely help with your intake. :D

You said your JE pistons were 9.5:1. Did you shave your head?

Yeah, nice work. I think the biggest plus is the nice strong healthy torque curve, not the HP figures.
