So as I'm startng to mock up the m106 turbo system on the m30b35, I try to thread in the new exhaust studs and.... they're a completely different size and pitch. See pics below.
My question is, is it safe to tap the head to the larger m10 size if I take the necessary precautions, such as blocking off the exhaust outlets to prevent shavings and debris from getting in to the cylinders? I really don't want to pull the head, but I'm not sure what else to do.
