Just collecting parts for the 24v (m50) swap into an e30 and have purchased the ZF310 box,
It may have been answered before, and apologies for not entering the right search terms but just a few quick clarifications before I purchase the wrong parts;
Some conflicting information from different threads,
Purchased;
- M50B25 engine
- M20 single mass flywheel
- ZF310 gearbox
- M20 starter
Not sure if will work, but these are on the to purchase list;
- 95-99 M3 clutch slave (PN: 21526775924) ???
or
96 328i clutch slave (PN: 21-52-1-159-045) ???
- zf release fork lever (PN: 21-51-1-223-302) ???
- zf fork lever spring (PN: 21-51-7-570-284) ???
- clutch pivot pin (21-51-1-223-281) ?? or e36 pivot pin (21-51-1-223-328) ??
Clarified from multiple threads;
- 323i euro throw out bearing (PN: 21-51-1-204-525)
- E30 shift lever
- 96+ e36 328i flex disc (PN: 26117511454)
- Sachs e36 m3 pressure plate (88-3082-999-618-M410) and 228mm clutch disc (21-21-2-226-841-BOE)
- zf 15mm (?) pilot bearing
Can anyone clarify? Or have I got the clutch slave/release fork the wrong way round and should be chasing a (single mass?) m20 fork and slave? Seeing as I am using the M20 clutch?
