I'd be more interested that way as TURBO & myself are on to ends of the spectrum. I'm an old dog & am just getting into the 80's ('84 e30/eta to be exact) with FI.

Ok I have been lurking on this forum/thread for awhile and I guess I can ask openly since you seem to respond so fast.

I am 100% going to be boosting my M20 this winter, and your kit seems like a good place to start. I wanted your input on the choice of turbo though ( I know very little about turbo's so I'll list what I am looking for and perhaps you can recommend a different setup.

I do regular road racing and time trials so linear power is very important for me. In addition, I'd like 350whp with the potential for more down the road if I build the block. Also, I would like the power/torque to come as early as possible with those power goals in mind.

While doing my head studs I intend to run a VAC turbo cam, new rockers/lifters/eccentrics and have the head ported for the top end.

Will your turbo kit as is satisfy my needs or would you recommend a different turbo (if cost is not a factor). I have good relationships with suppliers for Garett and was looking at their GT3071R units (if your manifold flanges bolt up to them).

my turbo is pretty similar to a gt3076 power is excellent for time attack, very broad torque band. Just about any t3 turbo will fit this manifold
