Slightly OT, but would you mind sharing a little about the electric exhaust cut-out setup? Did you use a kit?

Wow, that is a clean car. I have an unpainted MT1 spoiler of my own and hadn't figured out what I wanted to do with it yet, but the CF wrap on it looks amazing. I'm probably going to steal that idea from you sir. GLWS!

The electric cutout is just a kit from ebay wired to an e36 window switch.
The sound that comes out of it when its open more than makes up for the silence of the car with it closed.

The homelink can be found at most junkyards for under $10 and can be connected to the cigarette/accessory power under the center console. Its just 2 wires.

I wired the seats to the battery with an inline fuse. They work fine, but no memory as that is set by the e46 computer. They are heated as well & would prolly just need an e46 heated seat switch added to the set up for them to work properly.

                      Thanks for looking!

                        Beautiful car. Good luck!

Did you get the strut tubes modified/shortened with the e30 m3 setup? You look like you're at a ride height that could be achieved either way, but in my experience sitting pretty low on a stock strut tube with the same setup the car didn't ride as well as it did lifted up.

The car has the shortened version of the GC setup. The car is very smooth and handles beautifully.

What exhaust is that? Seriously amazing work on the car I have never dropped my jaw before for a 318is but that is properly clean...

Oh I don't doubt that at all. My question was purely for my own education not in any way a jab at your car/setup.

I ask because this is very close to the e30 I would love to build someday. Always filing things away in the back of my mind.

                              Thank you!
