It's amazing Klaus hasn't doubled in size with all the food he's been partaking in.

Klaus is living such a good life so far, its awesome to see him travel the country with everyone.
I CANNOT wait to show him around Los Angeles. I'm so glad no one else from LA got in before me!:pimp:

Ah it's too bad I didn't get Klaus in time for my trip to Circuit of the Americas. Would have been a good photo op!

                    Klaus arrived safe and sound.

Right away I introduced him to everyone.
My two gray cats were like ‘wtf’ but seemed to like him on closer inspection.

The BaBeS of the house all were swooning, but could sense he is a player, so nothing came of it. They are too classy for that.

I also pulled out an old friend, the trunk roundel from my first e30, who was happy to give a few lessons to Klaus. I only caught a few words of the conversation, but I definitely heard “whipper-snapper” and “don’t make ‘em like they used to”

He also got to spent some time with my m60 coffee table and shooting the shit with the resident roundel of the house 'Horny B'.

Klaus then helped me with some car chores, since we had a snap of warm weather. The e34 got a keyless entry system

And the e30 was pulled from hibernation for its monthly warm up and air-out.

I had Klaus flown first class to get here on time to go for some motorsports – Ice Rally! (if you ever have the opportunity to do an ice rally, do it! it’s a freakin riot!)

All strapped in (hood by the windshield) and ready for some laps.

Out on the track (the two photos courtesy of Austin Boynton: flikr )

And here is Klaus enjoying the front row seat to the fun:

I was going to keep Klaus for some ice fishing this upcoming weekend, but the weather is getting too warm and there is a good chance there will be no fishing, so his journey here is done. Tschüss, Klaus!

Looks like he had a good time! I love your wagon, my dad had an automatic version in the same color that I wish we still had. Also, that M60 table is awesome- do you have a thread anywhere on the build process?

woohoo! 7 more to go! I was originally racking my brain for what to show Klaus during the winter but looks like he'll be here during race season!

at the current speed it might be fairly close but I think he's going to be here in time to do One Lap of America with me!

thanks! and i do have a build thread for the table, its on my local forum:
Who doesn't want a piece of a car in their living room? (besides your wife) Well I do! Been drooling over engine coffee tables everywhere I see them, and I love model building, so it was inevitable for me to do this. The opportunity presented itself when I bought a blown-engine e34 for the rest of...
