Morty: Well Summer maybe people that create things aren’t concerned with your delicate sensibilities you know? Maybe the species that communicate with each other through a filter of your comfort are less evolved that the ones that just communicate? Maybe your problems are your own to deal with and maybe the public giving a shit about your feelings is a one way ticket to extinction.
Congratulations, you have made me want recaros. R3v always succeeds in getting me to search classifieds for random stuff I don't really need. So much more good stuff in the states then what I'm finding.

Quite tempted to give the guy a call, don't have a car for them right now but I like buying parts
Those are a bit unusual. What are those out of?
These are the ones I am on the hunt for. If anyone sees them please notify me ASAP!
I would also be MORE than happy with a set of these

Those are pure sex! Good luck with the hunt!
And most of the older recaros for sale here are from older Opel manta's so I assume they came from one. Loads of them got converted into rally cars here back in the days.

That is in correct Opels were imported off and on for a period of time. At the present time the closest thing to an Opel is the small Buick Regal we get here in the US. It's based on the Epsilon chassis.
I was going to use this pair of seats in my jeep but I think they are too nice for that. I'm not sure what they originally came out of but these seats were used in fast and high end cars in the late 80s and early 90s. These have the rare hollow headrest with netting. They also have a flip forward function for use in 2 door vehicles. These also have the adjustable leg bolsters (they pull out). They do not come with sliders. The passenger seat is in very good condition. The driver seat is in good condition with one hole on the side of the bolster and the seat bottom support (underneath the foam) is ripped (you can buy aftermarket replacement parts for this or fix it with standard seat webbing). $600 for the pair.

definitely not recaro, but a really good quality knock off. a very good price too, considering how nice they are. normally this wouldn't make the cut to be in my thread, but i'll make an exception for these.
Pair of Flo-Fit Recaro Style Sport Performance Touring Seats - $500 (Hendersonville, NC)
This is a set of seats made by a company called Flo-Fit. They are very similar to Recaro seats. They have a steel frame and are covered in gray cloth. These have adjustable headrests, reclining backs, lumbar support and they also have the front section that pulls out under your thighs.
These have been sitting in the back of a garage for many years and have gotten pretty dusty and a little dirty as a result, but there are no tears or damage anywhere on them. They just need to have a really good deep cleaning to look good as new again.
I do have mounting brackets for these, and I believe they are made to fit a late 80's to early 90's Trans Am or Camaro, but I believe you can get brackets to mount these into many different types of vehicles, or have someone make some for you.
These are very expensive seats when new, over $1000, so this will be a great deal for someone!
