    Top Hinge Cover

I'm nearly finished getting my top fully refurbished and 100% functional. One part I'm missing is the little sprung hinge flap that hides the top's hinge mechanism. I have the passenger side and got the part number that is on it, but my searches come up empty. I also haven't been able to find it on RealOEM either. Does anyone have a part number for this item?

Here's the number on the exiting flap.
    Current - 1991 E30 325i Auto Vert, 2013 F30 335i M-sport, 2014 F25 X3 M-sport
    Past - 1986 E30 325es, 1988 E30 M3, 1991 E34 535i 5sp, 1991 E31 850i 6sp, 1992 E36 325i, 1995 E36 M3, 2000 E46 323i, 2009 E60 535i, 2011 E90 335d

Thanks. The drawing didn't look anything like the part, so I guess I missed it. Looks like most are pretty proud of it too. Seems most are between $130-$170. ::Sigh:: Its just a piece of plastic. Oh well. At least it's the final part for this particular project.

They are stupid expensive, I paid 75 in April and now they are more.

As the parts supply dwindles the prices go up.... 10 more years and unless they start repro trim pieces this stuff will be even more expensive. If you ever have a chance a junkyard or part out grab extras as they like to break.

I should have also mentioned that you can buy the plastic hinge pieces separate as they are a individual part on a different BMW. If you just need those then you can save a bunch of money.

Typically what breaks on those is the tab that holds the spring, so you are pretty much SOL.

FYI BMW numbers parts odd and even for left and right (or right and left so don't quote me)
