@Varg - PLA, yes, but I have switched to PETG, which is stronger than ABS, and pretty good for brackets. I've used it and PLA for a few small bits on the interior. Depending on the orientation and layer height you may not need as much cleanup.
the real shortcoming of 3D printing vs injection molding is the texture/patterns used for surfaces in the interior. I have used injection molding at home to duplicate a few items, and just can't mimic the surface in 3D printing...
