The E30 is my first car. Got it as a wreckless 16 year old and from then to now I've never gotten a single ticket/warning. It's been three years and it is used as a daily driver. ::knocks on wood::

I've been Vermont/New Hampshire for almost 5 weeks, I've been pulled over 6 times, 3 in the past week. I swear I fucking hate this damn state. I've only gotten 1 ticket, $209 for "driving to fast for road conditions" the fucker was pissed as hell that I was driving 30 in a 25 on a gravel road. Give ME A BREAK!!!

I hate this state. I think they have me tagged and now it's just a game to see how many times they can pull me over for bullshit before I sue. I swear, the other night I was coming home at 11 and had just gotten off the freeway, the exit ramp light was green so I didn't slow down all the way and turned left onto the road. I hadn't even finished turning and I saw blue lights behind me. He said I was doing 44 in a 30, which was probably true except for the fact that I hadn't even had a chance to slow the fuck down! I convinced the guy to give me a warning. It's ridiculous up here. I can't wait to get back to Texas and DC.

Next time tell him you have to pee really bad. You didn't want to pull off to the side of the road and get in trouble for indescent exposure or anything along those lines..... thats why you were in a hurry.....if he gives you shit....piss yourself. A friend of mine claims/swears his cousin did this and got out of a 74 in a 55.....said the cop shook his head and told him to get going, he could do the speed limit now. Some of us have a little more pride then that. On the bright side a load of laundry versus a speeding ticket, points on your license, ins. rates go up.......

I said that exactly on truck rt 25a on long island after being pulled over for being clocked 96 in a 55 (in the e30 of course)and the trooper waited there a legit distance away while I strained to prove my story which was kinda gay but whatever he said he was there for my safety WTF??? anyway the cop let me go and said "this is your ONE, compliments of your neighborly state trooper"
just wanted to confirm that shit does work! Anybody can squeeze out a drop or two on cue LOL

I dont have any simpathy for anyone one here. At the end of the day you were speeding. If you don't like getting tickets don't speed. If you do get a tick don't blame the cop you were speeding.

Just for the record. In my e21 many years ago i probably got about 12 tickets (Not very proud of that). In my e30 i have had for 3 years not one.

Since you all are telling I got off on going 146 in a 60. I was racing a vette about 7 years ago over the mountains.

We both stopped and when the police officer got out the vette took off. He ran up to me and told me to stay put (I did) then he hauled off after him. About 10 minutes went by and a 2nd cop pulled up and said thanks for stopping your free to go and took off as well. I drove about 20 miles up road where the vette was sideways wrecked with 3 cop cars around it. I was scarred sh&tL##$.
