    2.5 swap with abs

Hi guys, got another question that I wasn't able to find the answer to.
It seems like the thing to do is cut the #20 wire on the c101 if doing a swap, so I went ahead and cut the wire on the new harness but when started working on the car yesterday I noticed it did have an ABS pump, so now im wondering if I should connect that wire?
I'm not too worried about it having abs or not but if it's already there then might as well use it. The car is an 87 325e and the new motor and harness is a 89.

    Thank you

Take C101 apart. If 20 is red or green on both sides, you don't need to cut it.
If one side (body, in your case) is green, you must cut it.

I'm not sure how abs gets power on the earlier cars. Your '87 might be a late '87
if it has abs. It's also possible that pin 20 was for airbags, as it changed pretty late
in production, about when airbags showed up...
