                      Not only did they build it but it actually worked the way it was supposed too. But boy was it a fuel pig. Using ground effect is not cheap by any means.

                          I think I posted a while ago about these ground effect boats. It is fast, goes under the radar, and not necessarely high tech. Russians had many types of them during the Cold War. Some found civilian applications in the Western World.
