PLEASE make a s38b36 replica plenum!! I don't see a price for the s38b36 airbox. Is there one to use the MAF with?

There is one he just didn't post the price. If I remember correctly, there is one with or without the MAF. If I were to get one, it would be one w/o the MAF.

I don't see a stock replica for the s38 like they built for the s14. The pic he posted with the red valve cover doesn't allow for the resonance flap, so you'd lose a bunch of mid range torque. Alpha N nets a loss in torque for s38b36/8 versus a gain in power for the s14 because MAF and actuator/flap are superior to the s14's AFM. It would certainly sound amazing and save ~15lb but performance would be lost.

Nobody that I know of across the pond has produced an exact replica of the S38 box. The cost would not beneficial due to demand. A great idea but I don't think the demand is there especially for the performance you would get in return.

There wouldn't be any performance gain, just incredible sound, look amazing, weight a little less, and not lose any power. There are already 10-15 of us lined up on m5board for one that is in preproduction but after seeing Maxx's gorgeous s14 replica box and great price, I'd buy his if it makes it to market first (assuming a little extra clearance for e30 application around the booster).
