Intelligent wipers module - by E30 Innovative Goods

    Hi,

While the ECONO gauge is under development we finished something else.

It is a wipers module with some extra features:
    - super easy P&P installation
    - adjustable interval time
    - double swipe 5 seconds after wash function

Everything is explained in the video:

    We have a prototype.
If there is enough interest we can make a batch. We'll need at least 10 to go forward.

You don't know you need it until you have it. We went to a 1500 mile trip last year with a few rain sections and it was very useful!

Price: 60 USD, worldwide shipping included.

    Any takers?

    This is pretty rad.

Does the wiper interval reset to default/stock if you turn the wipers off or turn the car off?

ooooooh...... i've been complaining to my bf that the only thing i don't like about the e30 is that there's not really intermittent wipers. if this allows me to adjust the timing between wipes, then i'd be all over this!

Pretty cool. I built a speed sensitive module based on the E36 module 6 or 7 years ago but nobody wanted to pay what it cost me to make them.

It's definitely worth doing - I just leave mine on intermittent most of the time, and they automatically speed up/slow down as your speed changes.

That's the point of this modul.

pretty cool. I notice a slight delay before it starts it's cycle which is cool. currently mine just sprays straight at the wipers for the first second.

For installation, does this just replace the wiper relay? (really that easy?)

This would usually be one of those things that I wouldn't care about, but for $60 it seems like a nice feature to have.
