The reason I’m selling my E30 is because an opportunity to buy my dream car (E46 M3) has been presented to me so I’ll need any help I could get (cash) AND I live in an apartment complex so I can’t give the attention it needs as far as restoration.
The Good:
PA Inspection Good till 4/11
Starts right up and drives (use it as DD to go to work)
Clean PA title in hand
No-overheating issues
No suspension noises
5 Speed Transmission is still tight
Brand New Clutch ($900 job – have receipt)
Brand New Brakes (Rotors, Pads and Lines + 1 caliper was rebuilt)
No major electrical issues (lights, gages, radio, Wipers, Sensors, Diagnostic Panel, etc.)
Power Windows work
Heater Works
Central Locking System Works 100%
Mechanical Sunroof Works
Brand New OEM Shift Boot
Brand New OEM Roundels (Front and Back)
Recently installed an “IS” Full Exhaust I purchased from one of the members here (sporty sound)
Tucked Diving Boards (Bumpers)
Power steering still in
A/C System is still in (Doesn’t work)
3 of 4 tires still have good thread life
The Not So Good
PO painted it with flat black spray paint or house paint (never cared about painting it since it was intended to be use as a track car) – Original Color: Alpine White
Blue Interior is 5/10 (Cracked Dash, Driver’s Seat is torn, other than that is in pretty good shape)
ODO stopped at ~243K miles
Leaks Small amount of Coolant
Leaks Small amount of Oil
Don’t have history on the Timing Belt or any of the other belts
Taillights are not busted but they are not pretty
Only have one Key (I have a blank key that will need to be cut)
Asking $1300
As per forum rules: “Thread crapping is not acceptable. If you're not interested in purchasing the item for sale or have nothing positive to add, please stay out of the thread."
PM me for any questions if you are interested.
I have a couple of Videos of the car when I got it and the exhaust if interested.
On to the Pics:
When I got her home (NOTES: it’s really dirty inside, no roundels, no shift-boot, and horrible taillights)
Installed wipers and roundels
I tried to revive the taillights by sanding and clear coat…looks a lot better (not perfect of course)
