    IE regrinds?

What's the verdict on IE regrinds for under $200? I have a spare m30b35 head I can pull the cam out of and send to them so I don't have to deal with a CORE or anything like that.

284 is what I am thinking about, since 292 requires more head work that I want to do right now.

Then MAF conversion and MS. I am not ready for boost just yet.

2nd option is to get one of Paul Burke's cams, but those are much more expensive although everybody swears by it.

see what the warrente is like for them too. do you need to work harden them/break them in. it is hard to beat for the price though. PM me before you order the IE cam though. wink wink nudge nudge

          Jean,

As someone looking to boost, myself, the consensus seems to be that you want to avoid adding more overlap than the B35 cam already has. Generally, you want more lift, but not so much you'll need to do crazy other things to the head. I'm going to mog this one, myself.

          Leszi's

Colt Cams quoted me $185 and seemed like a nice guy - there are almost certainly local guys who will do it cheaper, though.

If you're going PnP MS, you can run off the MAP sensor anyway - a MAF is essentially throwing away money. I suppose you could convert both to work, but there's no reason to.
