I got them installed Friday night, then while tightening up the control arm the strut mount bearing collapsed and just fell out. I went to Pick n Pull the next morning at 8a.m. got a different one and installed it.

Everything was on track to make the meet that day at 12, but once I got to installing my steering rack everything fell to pieces (not literally). I needed to center my steering wheel, so I went to get my key and noticed it was not where I left it... My dad ended up thinking it was a key to my brothers car (both have spare ****ty keys), and when trying to start the car he bent the **** out of the key. He threw it away, so I was left with no key for my car.

I am going to BMW Concord in about 30 min to order a new one.

You can get the key code and take that code to any reputable locksmith who can cut the key and save you cost over dealer pricing. Have done that in the past and it saves $. Also get a secondary key made for lots less as well. Then your covered!

Its always that way when pushing to get something completed. Murphys Law!

Hope its resolved.

Make sure to check the clearance on one of those backing plates that is slightly bent. You dont want it rubbing the inner edge of your front disks.

Yeah, I plan to get the code while I am at the dealer today to make some spares, but I want one primary steel key.

Yeah I made sure they are away form the discs, I accidentally bent them while pushing the struts in, that is why I made that box stand.

Thanks!
