OK, i know this is a dumb newbie question, but i just wanted to be sure. Is it ok to kinda glob it on there, and is it supposed to smoke as it burns off? :oops:

A good coating on the threads will do and Yes, yes it will smoke when you first get it hot...

Thanks, i know it was a stupid question, but i let a friend help out with it and just wanted make sure the smoke was normal :?
