1991 BMW 325i (UPDATED 5/16/2016)
I have decided to sell. I love this car, as much as most of everyone else on this board, but the fact is I have an E36 M3 that I love to work on and I don’t want two cars that I mod….gets kind of expensive! I bought a 2013 Audi A4 to be my new DD. You can check out my rebuild here:
I don’t think I need to talk about regular maintenance because 1) I go above and beyond and 2) anyone that knows me can verify that I take great care when it comes to the e30 or e36 M3. I will be as thorough as possible.

Now for the imperfections:
-Paint on exterior is great, except I forgot to remove the antenna mount. So when I switched to the Z3/E36 antenna, the rubber mount is smaller, which left a slight ring around the mount
-Paint imperfection #2….slight bubbling on the hood, due to not having a heat shield on the turbo downpipe
-ABS light is on (I removed bulb), but haven’t troubleshot this yet. Light is always on, so suspect the relays on the ABS pump (no relay under dash for 91)
-Cracks in dash (not severe but bugs me) in map pocket
-Transmission selector rod seal typical leak (I have the seal, can do it before sale)***Not leaking**** Was residual oil from rear transmission seal that I replaced
-Oil drain tube under intake is weeping *****FIXED*****
-Valve cover leak: *****FIXED*****
-Rust in spot3 x spotss all under trunk seal). Appear to be just surface and less than the size of a dime. Nothing underneath, no other locations. I am not going to be that guy that says, “rust free, except……”
-A/C components are all there and worked until 5/10/15….must be a leak, even thinking of replacing every component if I keep the car
That is all I can remember…I have plenty of receipts. This was my attempt to have an E30 that was somewhat “new” instead of buying a new BMW….she will not disappoint. She has her flaws, but I would say they are extremely minor. My "make me sell" price is $10,000. The e30 tax is strong with this one.....but I am open to offers to get this sold.
This car has won car awards at two separate events for "Best Import" so I know the quality is appreciated....
