    Help!!! M52b28 cutting out under full throttle and high rpm

    Car has trouble starting as well check engine light also comes on when it cuts out as well what could this be? The car has a m50 intake manifold pink top injectors and a chip

        OBD1 swap?

          check the vibration damper. the rubber in it deteriorates and can allow it to wobble.

            Obd1 and only time the check engine light comes on is when it's cutting out as soon as it stops choking the check engine light goes away

                Mine cut out at high RPMs and heavy throttle and it was the coils. They all *looked* fine and the car ran fine otherwise.

                    Yeah, my coil packs were causing a very sudden and severe misfire. Under heavy and full throttle it would fall on it's face at about 4500 RPMs and there was a lot of vibration.
