Paging suspension experts: Strut mount drop links

I'm installing an IE front sway bar with strut mount drop links on Das Beast. Here's the whole thing mocked up. Weld-on mounting tab seems too low for length of the drop link. Tab is at the top of the strut. Adjustable drop link is at minimum length. I'm not liking the way it all fits and considering making a custom mounting tab higher up on the strut.

Does this look Ok? Would like to hear from folks with knowledge on the subject.

I think I answered my own question. Tab needs to be rotated 90 degrees.
