Florida too. We saw a 25% decrease on our bill by turning the temp up a few degrees when everyone is at work/school.

And Florida is most likely more humid than California, begging for even more air conditioning. Hey John, do you have a thermopump to help lower air temp in the house?

A new study tracking global investment in renewable energy found that investors spent less money in 2016 to add more renewable energy capacity than in any previous year. In total, investors only spent about $241.6 billion in renewable energy investments in 2016, down 23 percent from 2015.

                Whoops sorry
It's about congress passing a requirement that all data at the EPA is open, that anyone can see it/use it.
It's odd that EPA has not had to divulge its data to everyone to this point.
I was trying to post the article from a neutral website, but here's another link from a decidedly non-neutral website:

It's worth noting that they specifically created a laundry list of thing that the administrator must do but intentionally made the budget for that activity extremely small so that they can effectively hamstring the EPA.

                  (1)

(A)The Administrator shall not propose, finalize, or disseminate a covered action unless all scientific and technical information relied on to support such covered action is—

                  (B)the best available science;

                  (C)specifically identified; and

(2)publicly available online in a manner that is sufficient for independent analysis and substantial reproduction of research results, except that any personally identifiable information, trade secrets, or commercial or financial information obtained from a person and privileged or confidential, shall be redacted prior to public availability.

The redacted information described in paragraph (1)(C) shall be disclosed to a person only after such person signs a written confidentiality agreement with the Administrator, subject to guidance to be developed by the Administrator.

                  (5) The Administrator shall carry out this subsection in a manner that does not exceed $1,000,000 per fiscal year, to be derived from amounts otherwise authorized to be appropriated.

                    crying wolf gets you nowhere

a perspective on the history of "environmentalists" on the impending doom facing mankind, similar to today's global warming alarmists

Each year, Earth Day is accompanied by predictions of doom. Let’s take a look at past predictions to determine just how much confidence we can have in today’s environmentalists’ predictions. In 1970, when Earth Day was conceived, the late George Wald, a Nobel laureate biology professor at Harvard University, predicted, “Civilization will end within 15 or 30 years unless immediate action is taken against problems facing mankind.” Also in 1970, Paul Ehrlich, a Stanford University biologist and best-selling author of “The Population Bomb,” declared that the world’s population would soon outstrip food supplies. In an article for The Progressive, he … Continue reading →

perhaps you want to argue with his data? You know, the actual temperatures?

cliff mass fully believes that climate change is real and happening, just that the seattle times article is wrong about it contributing to the death of that particular tree.

i guess georgie has managed to suppress his beliefs about global warming being a fraud or conspiracy long to believe the source material of the blog post

not at all. AGW is a left conspired political movement disguised poorly as "settled science" supported by notable intellectuals like Al Gore and Bill Nye and scientists on the public teat. You could not have done better "brave" to support your scientific literacy in human caused climate change. what is there to question when Seattle is cooling in a warming world?

The fact that you cling onto the 'Global Warming' moniker, a notation started by deniers to discredit the science behind it kinda gives away your ideas.

Climate change is pretty obvious, its too bad many people feel the need to actively search for the denial when they cant find it incidentally. Proving the point that most people are running off confirmation Bias these days.

Not much different from flat earthers and anti-vaxx campaigns, here some dude with an official sounding name say its a hoax, confirmation bias kicks in, must be fact.
