E30 Euro Smiley headlights with grilles.
The Euro lights offer better light dispersion, and are more aesthetically pleasing according to general consensus. They use H1 bulbs along with a push-fit 5w sidelight/city light located in the low beam top centre. The bulbs are sometimes included but never guaranteed, and the caps and wiring pigtails are included. To fit to a US/other non-equipped car, you will need to splice the pigtails/connectors in - a simple job, for which there are DIY guides on the forum. All light sets come complete with a set of Euro grilles - different to US by virtue of a thicker top slat (an "eyebrow"), a hole for the wash/wipe motor arm to go through (if you fit it), and, importantly, a cut-out to accommodate the city light bulb holder.

You will get one set of grilles, your selected headlights, and a set of plugs with pigtails to use for wiring them in.
The lights always come with the headlight rings on them as well, which will generally be in need of a repaint, as 99% of them have flaking paint due to age and UK road conditions.
If you do not want grilles, the price will be about $40 lower. Please note that grilles are NEVER for sale separately.
Ratings are out of 10 and are totally subjective (opinion). The ratings are for the lens clarity/condition, not the overall unit. Any other defects will be noted. Adjusters are generally serviceable with surface rust, sometimes though they are bad and I will try to note this. They can be easily taken out and cleaned with wire wheel and work perfectly, if you so desire to do that.
Unless otherwise noted, they are all made by Bosch. Any writing you see on the lenses is liquid chalk marker and rubs off without effort.

Frame/Adjuster Defects: LHS high/inner beam held in with welded in mounts - it is an almost new replacement lens for a pre-facelift set and someone has made their own mounts to hold it in. It works, and you'll never see it once fitted.
Both outer (smiley) beams have broken bottom mounts. The most practicable way to fix this is to load them up with some rubber/silicone which will hold them in place. It's doable, and offers a cheaper, more DIY alternative to keep the price point low.
