Posted so I can keep track of my experiences with not so good and good dealers and hopefully educate the uneducated. Yes, Sarcasm ahead. And yes I know dealers are people too, but man have I fallen for dealer BS before and I feel anger now. please feel free to rant and add to the list below.
You too can be a used car dealer/salesman. Follow the steps below for great success.
1) always answer a question with an answer that has nothing to do with the question just asked. Example: Buyer "Hi saw the ad, is there any rust?" Dealer "its still for sale but I don't think I can go any lower on price, you can come look at the car if you want." Buyer "Uh, is there any rust?"
2) Got rust? just paint that ish, then conveniently forget where it was painted or when, and yes, use that bottom shelf paint- maximum profit baby.
3) List your ad under the "owner" section of any classified website. When asked why by a buyer, LIE. "my secretary must have posted it there by mistake"
