My fingerprints were gone after 5 minutes of sanding..haha.
Plenty more to do, obviously, but hopefully have it ready for final paint in a week or so

Decided the ABS pump deserves no place in a bay like this so cut the brackets we welded on off, and going to mount it underneath.

Been sick so progress been creeping once again. But bay is ready for paint. Hacked out the bumper to fit the 3" intercooler (its hella tight!) and coils are welded up

The bay looks great!!! I can appreciate all the work that goes into that

Subbed for the upcoming pictures of the painted bay aka throne for your engine and turbo

Did you consider doing a removable core support since it's all apart and getting painted? One of the best changes I made on my car

Haha yeah, stole a few ideas from you ;). Thought about the radiator support yeah but I dunno just didn't do it. Got the intercooler now and its like tight as hell, I wouldn't even be able to fit bolts for the rad support either side so meh.

16's are all good, lot of people even prefer that. I'm currently having my bolts chromed cause they were lookin way too scummy

Mounting my coil pack on the firewall cover, trying to make it pretty..

Some excessive bogging should get me there :-P

After about 5 sessions with the bog..

Vwaala, straight from the factory :)

                              Ahh, finally :)

Its pretty mint, not perfect, painting in 10 degrees in the winter is far from ideal so a bit of wet sanding once its dry should fix up the rogue slugs

Made a timelapse for the hell of it..
