Here are two good reasons just to get started: they often treat sellers like shit, and cars like this one often don't bring the money that they should.

I was an early and devoted a fan of theirs, but they showed an appalling lack of good character and soured my opinion of them. :(

Yeah I've got a classic car I want to sell and BAT would be a good venue but I'm worried about subjecting myself and car to that abuse.

It was listed on BAT already from the first ad and not much came of it. I'm trying to avoid all of the commenters that think they know better as long as possible. If it doesn't sell on eBay I might try to list through them, hard to say.

Wow, I had no idea it was like that. I had assumed based on their fee structure (buyer pays), guaranteed funds before bidding,and low listing fees that it was more friendly option to eBay. Definitely interested in hearing more.

Totally planning on giving it a shot, but cars also tend to be so clean that end up on there. Just feels iffy for some reason.
