I dont know if i can answer 100% in your case (cause your e46 is tastefully modded excepted the tinted tails).
Cause in my case, its an upgrade beacuse I dd a '01 318i autotragic and come on....When god gives you his ride to be rolling in, i don't think you would want to let go the steering
