Sudden fuel loss after 18k miles

I recently moved from SoCal to Colorado. Along the way the car suffered a fuel pump failure in the middle of nowhere. Found a store, replaced the pump, strainer and relay for good measure. No issues, car ran fine for the remaining 800 miles (expect for the pump harness wiggling loose). Fast forward a week and I haven't really driven it much since I got here. Ran some errands this morning with no issues, no odd symptoms. Went to leave again, fired right up, made it about 100 yards and it cut out again, same as before.

Did some brief checking and found the connection to the fuel pump is secure, the fuse is good and the relay is clicking over just fine. However the pump is still not getting power.

What am I missing here? Aside from pulling the pump again is there anything else I should check? The engine cranks over just fine and occasionally sputters but won't fire.

Small update. Did some digging and found the fuse had blown, then blew again...and again. Neighbor of mine happened to walk past, owns a shop specializing in Volvo's and knows vehicle electrics better than most. After poking around his diagnosis is the crappy aftermarket pump is drawing too many amps and blowing the stock 15amp fuse. Put a 30 in and it fired right up.

Taking it back and exchanging for an OE Bosch unit tomorrow.
