Hello,
I'm helping my buddy sell his 1996 328i rolling shell. He bought the car from Copart Salvage auction with damage to the radiator support, hood, and headlights so that he can pull the drivetrain out for a E34 24V swap. We pulled off the wrecked front end parts, along with the motor/trans, and don't need the rest.
VIN# WBACD4325TAV40350
The chassis has 170k miles on it. The exterior is in excellent condition. I would say 8/10 (apart from the missing front end items). No major scratches nor dents to mention. THE FRAME RAILS LOOK STRAIGHT and there are no signs of rust on it.
The interior is also in really good shape. The tan seats are in decent shape in the front, and the rear ones look brand new. The wood trim also survived as well. The headliner is intact and all the electronics worked before the engine was pulled.
The suspension is stock and untested. Looks good, but we didn't drive it far enough to get any more details.
The car will come with everything you see in the pictures. I think this would be an excellent car for someone that wants a straight/clean chassis to build, or for someone who has time and space to part it out to make a good profit.
PRICE DROP: $300 OBO. NEED GONE BY THIS WEEKEND!
Car is located in Downtown Sacramento.
If you have any questions, please call/txt George at 916-215-559two or PM me and I will pass along the info.
