Turn Signal Switch & realOEM price

We need a new turn signal switch (13 button OBC, no airbag). Part # 61311375190, which shows on realOEM as $173. That's usually full list retail.

Searching around, it's listed from $200 bottom to nearly $400. Even Blunt shows it at 380.

Don't those prices seem steep? Does the realOEM list really mean anything? Used might be attractive, but it's a 30 yr old plastic and electrical part.

I don't think those prices are updated. They've never come up correct for me. I just use that site for parts reference.

I agree, RealOEM is only for reference. I've had good luck with https://getbmwparts.com/ Always helpful and responsive. I've had bad luck with knock off electrical parts. You can always search ebay for used parts.

I searched by part #, found a really good deal on Amazon of all places, so I checked up on them and it turns out to be a new BMW part from a big east coast dealer in PA. $207. They go by OEM BMW Parts.

$304 from getbmwparts.

I first checked with Bavarian Auto Recycling in CA thinking it might be half.....$225, for a used part.

I would reconsider buying it used then. Used would be like $30 tops from someone parting a car or someone with spares. (I'm pretty sure I have at least 2, for example. Maybe 3.)
