NEW Seat & Cabrio Specific Shocks. !!

    Jan 2017 update

The price for 2 sets (so 8 shocks) is reduced to $145 until further notice. Domestic priority post PayPal fees and new push nuts are all included.

Just passing on savings from exchange rates. My way to say thanks.

I have sold 100s of these mostly for e30s but also e28 and e24s and have had nothing but positive feedback and a number of repeat customers as far away as Australia. I've been told the seats feel more solid with these which makes sense since they should cut down on rattle.

These are 350N which is what stock back support shocks are. The seat bottom shocks are 450N whchnis just under the original 500N but since you are not supposed to leave your weight on the seat to raise or lower it, these work fine there as well.

Each set contains 4 shocks and 8 push nuts which is enough to do an entire sport seat or th backs for 2 seats. If you have ever removed the push nuts they tend to get mangled. ECS sells them for $1.50 and im including them along with priority post domestic 2 day shipping and PayPal fees.

    1 set of 4 is $80

    2 sets are $145

Please post general questions so I don't get asked more than once and please PM me with transaction specific questions...such as what's my PayPal address :)

    Thanks for looking
    Jeff

Note if you want matching rubber bands please ask.

NOTE I have placed a custom order for cabrio deck lid shocks and soft top shocks (with genuine plastic sleeves). Delivery is anways out but this is your FYI to fix yourmtop for spring.

I still have a few left for those who are tired of using 2 hands to adjust their seat back

I need a couple of sets for when I re-do my sport seats, but not right away. Will you be doing this again, or is this a one and done deal?

I'm about out of this run but have set up an account with the mfg so as long as there is a needI'll try to keep them on hand.

I'm hoping the ones I'm shipping now will get installed ASAP so we can get some feedback before I order more.

i'm also looking in to tonneau cover shocks since my 3yo ones are already blown and they seem to be $25@

Cool, thanks Jeff. As I mentioned in the other thread I'll need two sets but it will be a few weeks before I'm ready to pull the trigger. Appreciate you doing this!

I would say "regrettably I'm sold out" but that just means there's a need for this. I will be ordering more very shortly and will PM those who have posted or PMed their interest before I make an open offer.

Thanks to the early adapters and please do provide feedback once they are installed.

PS I should have a quote on cabrio deck lid shocks soon and will keep everyone posted on that.

PSS all paid orders went out today via priority post.

Any chance we can also source the proper (500nm) shocks for the seat height adjustment?

This is a great price for a sorely needed product. Don't know too many 25+ yo e30s that don't need new seat shocks. Once you've had a proper seat function, you won't want to go back.

For this factory to produce a 500N would require an 8mm rod (which they don't stock) but more importantly would require a 22mm body. That's quite a bit more than the stock 500N which I measure at 16.25mm and raises clearance (and price) concerns I felt were best to avoid.

The 350N's that I've installed for the bottom work fine and of course I'm eager to hear back from the early adapters before I reorder.

Meanwhile still discussing options with the factory for higher spec without dimensional or cost challenges and assuming there is need or demand
