Exhaust opinion - 87 325is

Going to build an exhaust for my 87 325is. It already has a Bavarian long tube header and stock exhaust/pipes.

Plans are after the header: Y pipe to 2.5 all the way back with a Megan M-DT muffler. Anyone have a similar setup? How does it sound?

Yes I have a similar setup but with Magnaflow 14815's. 2.5 after cat.

That sounds pretty good thanks! I wonder how it would sound without the cat

It will sound mostlikely nasty loud and raspy not deep tone. I dont like the rasp I rather have the deep tone.

Without a cat you definitely will want to run a center muffler, resonator, or glasspack.
