Input shaft seal on getrag 260

Should I take the tranny to a shop and have them replace the input shaft seal, or should I try to do it? I figure I'm going to replace all 3 seals on the 260 before I swap it in with the M50.

I've replaced the selector and output shaft seals on my Getrag 240 tranny from my 318iS, but never the input shaft seal. How do you remove the input shaft carrier? Am I going to need a puller for removal and a press for installation?

The input seal is really easy to change, its the output seal thats a little more challenging.
