Did a manual swap on my e34 Touring Now my ABS light and "S" mode are always on. Any solution?

the ABS light should be unrelated to your swap. did you cut any wires/change harnesses in the process of your swap? did you leave the auto trans computer plugged in, or remove it?
my manual swap car shows 'E' for like 10 secs then turns off. most people just live with whatever letter shows up, and it seems to vary from car to car.

Mine does the S for a couple seconds then goes off, if yours doesnt then you wired out that switch wrong.
and I agree with straight6pwr, abs is unrelated, maybe check fuses, are you running the delete relay or just jumping the the spades? it could be you where at the wrong relay or you touched tow wires you shouldn't haveComment

S is always on...and I have a new dummy relay from the dealership.

Similar issues with mine:
-trans computer unplugged
-shows S for 10 seconds and dings for trans program on startup
-can't read/advance BC readout with stalk
I did all the necessary wiring under the shifter.Comment
