    M20 stroker clutch kit. S14?

I'm reading everywhere that S14 kit will work with M20/260.
Is there anything about S14 setup that is different than M20? I can get S14 HD kit $60 cheaper than M20. (links) I just not sure why SBC lists them as not interchangable

    S14 https://www.ecstuning.com/b-south-be...t/kf775hd~sbc/

    S20 https://www.ecstuning.com/b-south-be...t/kf296hd~sbc/

I think S14 kit comes with better Sach disk as well, Sachs 1862168232 vs Sachs Sachs 21211223174 with M20 kit

The S14 Sachs clutch kit is listed as a upgrade for the M20, go to the Sachs website and you will see it listed as a Sachs performance upgrade, I am using this for a 2.9L M20, bought it from FCP Euro

There is no difference. It used to be that the S14 pressure plate was a bit stiffer (and thus ideal for street-stroker builds), but once BMW ran out they superseded the pressure plate with the standard M20 unit.

          Update:
Got my SBC M3 clutch kit. I've been very happy with SBC in my VW TDI so I decided to give them a shot in e30. Kit comes with PP, disc and T bearing. Looks like this kit is identical to OEM M3 kit (3082001454) as all parts have the same part numbers.
The only difference is PP...it has the same part number as M3 Sachs (or M20 Sachs, see SkiFree's post above) but it looks like SBC upgraded drive straps. SBC claims that this kit should be good for up to 300 ft/lbs. We shall see....

PP: Sachs MF 228 # 3082 001 454 with SBC own upgraded drive straps.
          Disc: Sachs 1862168232
          TB: Sachs 053151231031
