Eh, my current set-up(2.5 inch to glass pack) sounds pretty nice, but full straight pipe only sounds good if driving super hard. Don't mean to threadjack though, love the sound of uncorked m20's.

Meh I prefer to make my e30 fast and not just make it sound fast.

Don't have the money at the moment to make it fast. Need to do paint first, then after, SWAP.

I need a decently loud exhaust to drive well/ fast. Its a lot easier to be able to hear the engine than to look down at the tach when shifting/ r3v matching when downshifting. Plus, If it doesn't sound bad, a car can be however loud it wants haha.

Exactly, i noticed it is a lot better/smoother to drive with the straight pipes. The only bad thing is the drone in the car is ear ringing lol. But.. its WAY better than that ugly m3 muffler i had on there.
