? for forum/computer guru's (hopefully this be the right section to post?)

im always helping people with wiring issues and have times when i want to cut/copy/paste a page from the ETM's i have on my computer that are PDF's for reference , if i double click on the PDF page it highlights blue and i can right click and do a copy ,then paste it into a form post and it shows on page(seems overly large but its there) .but when i do a preview or actual post the diagram doesnt show up . what am i doing wrong ive seen other do this so i know its possible ,so whats the trick (step by step ) ? do i need to save it in another format and upload as an attachment? any help appreciated....

This is not the correct area. I would post this in off topic.

Think of a PDF as an image. You will need to save the PDF to the computer, and then find somewhere to host the PDF as an image, and then post the image of the PDF into the forum like you would a photo.

Or just a thought. If you have a newer computer pull the diagram up. Open up sniping tools take a screen shot and post the screen shot.

Yes go to start menu where you search the computer for programs and type in sniping tool in the search bar
